This brings me back memories of what it means to dream of a game you can`t have, haven`t had the money for a gamecube or any console at the time, but all of the people playing on youtube made me fall in love with this game. Would be a dream come true for a rogue squadron fan to play this game at last. Thank you Factor 5 for making it. And Thank you gog for even trying to make it become a reality.

I remember sending the wing mates off to do whatever while I did the mission objectives, but as a kid playing this off big screen tv, trying to keep the volume low when trying to sneak in more playing time at night or early in the morning...good times, would love to see this brought back on GOG.

Everyone who dreamed of controlling one of the many scifi-vehicles appearing in the original trilogy will love this game. Hovering over the snow-dunes of Hoth or race through the lush jungles of Endor on an imperial speeder-bike. Though 30 years old the graphics are still tunning. An action-game every Star Wars fan can play with simple controls, different levels and catching story.
I played the first installment in a N64, it was love at first gameplay. The second one was probably the best star wars game I have ever played, besides the RPGs. Fun, immersive and nostalgic, a masterpiece ahead of it's time.
This was, and still is, by far the best star wars space combat game ever created, which highlights the horrible fact that it is still stuck in the GameCube. Factor 5 made one of the greatest games of all time. Fighting the two star destroyers long with the rest of the Rebel Fleet at Endor is still a feeling I have yet to experience in any other game.

Crimson Skies
Crimson SkiesThe series is set within an alternate history of the 1930s invented by Weisman and McCoy. Within this divergent timeline, the United States has collapsed, and air travel has become the most popular mode of transportation in North America; as a result, air pirates thrive in the world of Crimson Skies. In describing the concept of Crimson Skies, Jordan Weisman stated he wanted to "take the idea of 16th century Caribbean piracy and translate into a 1930s American setting."
