It's not the best RC car game ever. I can't say it's the most unique. But i remember this being on one of the many CDs brothers left to play. I loved unlocking the worm car. I loved going through the "campaign" mode too. Or just racing around watching big flames coming out of the RC cars whenever i press the nitro button. Well there is a place this game can be found and it runs on win10 without a problem. But would be still nice to have it here too. Maybe Team17 would make a remaster or spiritual successor, if it gets popular enough
This game made me who I am today - A Game Designer! I remember my uncle owning the CD edition of this game for his W_xp PC. I would sink hours into the game. From trying to unlock the fastest car to setting high stunt scores, to even trying to speedrun the arcade mode. It is a game that has been long forgotten and a game that deserves a remake! Today I am making that remake in UE5 with support for multiplayer over Steam as the original game only had split screen support! It is very hard to find a legitamate copy of this game anywhere - especially on disk! It would be a dream to own it fully and have the necessary support to run it easily on any device! Just one more race, please! ;-;

This is a very unique kind of game, a genre that was once popular but nearly extinct these days. I have fond memories of it and it's still fun to play, especially since there's nothing else that would be even remotely similar to how it looks and feels. Sure, it's a niche title but it's very much worth of preservation. GOG already has most of Team17 games available in their store, but SGP is the missing little gem. It's probably also worth noting that it tends to run very well under modern Windows (idk about Linux/Wine, as i haven't tried), especially in 3Dfx Glide mode with a wrapper like nGlide

I have great memories of playing this game when I was little. I think I got it as a gift although I'm not sure. Anyways, this is a very unique game. There are around 15 or so cars and all of them have completely different mechanics: some may be faster but harder to steer for example. The only things that makes all of them connected are the stunts which you can do on ramps and such. Doing a certain stunt (like a backflip, frontflip or other) will award you with more battery power (which overally runs out the more you drive or use a nitro). In my personal opinion this was such a cool idea for a racing game and I hope that more people will find out about it. Also, the community of the game is currently working on a remake entirely made in unity called "Stunt GP Remastered". You can find it on Itch.io. I reccomend it a lot.

speedy stylish game with bit too cluttered interface, very destinct style between the speed, stunt and offroad classes of cars, fairly strong AI, HUGE replayability.... Yes yes it has issues but generaly it always played like a dream - fast paces arcade game that allowed players to apply strategy against AI (you can make NPC burn its battery and need to rechard whilst you keep yours topped up by doing stunts or you can also burn your battery trying to pull ahead). it is my personal pick for best arcade style racing because of its versatility of terrain its decent depth of modification (wheels, suspension, chasis, battery, even which wheels are powered can be in SOME cases changed) - incredible! i can not beleive it has not been re-released on digital yet!

Another great game lost in time but not because of developers, unfortunately game fall into copyright limbo and nobody knows to who this game belongs exactly, thats mainly reason why it is not back on retail and a good one to bring it back to GOG, game deserves it, it was simply, fun and had nice soundtrack. Cars were fun to drive and tracks were balanced in its difficulty level although you still needed some knowledge of how to set up your car and how to drive certain tracks but that made it even more fun. Remember playing Demo a lot as a child where only available cars were Stunt Monkey, Dune Buggy and Mean Streak but it was still a really fun game to play especially with all these stunts :)
It was/is one of my favourite childhood games. I don't and didn't usually play racing games, but for the way this one looked, (cartoonish?, it's a fun concept playing as an rc car), it hooked me in. I remember I got the cd to install the game from my cousin and unfortunately I never owned it, hence I don't have a copy at me house. Mates, add it onto GOG shall you? This, to preserve a silly, ultra-fun and a casual racing game. (I wasn't able to install it on Windows 11, would be bloody lovely to play it again if it's brought back to life through GOG. Cheers :3

Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.

Midtown Madness 3
Midtown Madness 3Midtown Madness 3 is an open world racing/arcade sequel, part of the Midtown Madness series. For the first time in the series, the game was released only on the Xbox, with a Windows version rumoured for later release, but ultimately scrapped.[citation needed] The game was developed by DICE (of Battlefield 1942 fame) and published by Microsoft Game Studios. This marked a change from the developer of the first two games, Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego). Coincidentally, Midtown Madness 3 was released in 2003 against Midnight Club II, created by the developer of the first two games, Rockstar San Diego. The Xbox-only release and change of developer heralded a significant graphical improvement to maintain the console's graphical standards.
