Il s'agit d'un jeu français inspiré du premier Resident Evil. On y incarne une jeune agent de police qui part enquêter dans un manoir isolé après la disparition de sa sœur cadette. Si les similitudes sont là, le jeu propose bien une expérience différente de son modèle. De nombreuses idées de gameplay sont originales mais collent parfaitement à un survival horror. C’est notamment le cas des sangsues qui vous soignent progressivement, mais vous empêchent de courir, ou encore le fait que chaque chargeur de pistolet prend une place dans l’inventaire et qu’il s’éjecte avec les balles restantes à l’intérieur au moment de la recharge. Les énigmes, bien que peu nombreuses, sont pensées intelligemment ; le bestiaire se révèle redoutable ; et l’ambiance visuelle comme sonore (mention spéciale à la musique) force le respect. Les angles de caméra fixe, en particulier, sont très bien choisis. Terminer le jeu une première fois permettra de jouer dans une difficulté plus élevée avec sauvegardes limitées. Le jeu n’est pas très long : comptez environ 5/6 heures pour en voir une première fois le bout, mais la qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous. Son seul défaut concerne les animations un peu faiblardes et rigides, mais en dehors de ça, on peut dire que l’on a probablement sous les yeux l’un des meilleurs héritiers de RE.
