This post is for the released game, with the latest patch, with a system that will run the game at fairly high settings.
The game suddenly started stuttering badly. The cure for this was to switch from the full screen window mode to the full screen mode.
The manual probably would not have helped me since I hardly ever read one, so I had this little problem. I did not find the exit for the camp screen and searched the entire screen for it. It did not have one that I could find. For some reason I can't fathom, it is on the map screen.

2 yes its a know issue [the lag] caused by the way Larian made their game and it can be fixed at their end once they stop making random changes

3 the map exit was removed by Larian a few patches back... i assume there was some good reason but perhaps they just forgot, your guess is as good as mine
