What Hickory meant by installation directory, is where do you point GOG Galaxy to install your games. I uninstalled that piece of crap, so I cannot show you screenshots to better clarify, but what he meant (and I explain this to you in case you need further assistance another time) is where the game was installed. This is because (older) default installation paths messed with the games and overall, is a good thing to know when helping around.
To check your directory, go to Galaxy/settings and search among the options. You will find something among the lines "installation path" and "download path" (or something like that. I am talking memory here, as I explained, I currently don't have Galaxy installed).
That "installation directory" or whatever is called is what we need to help the diagnose and what you might need to change in the future if some errors on games appear.
