So I started playing BG2 with BGT mod.

So happily I was in Candlekeep, doing that boring tutorial and quests and whatnot and getting puny 100 of XP, there was no lag, not even using the wands in the combat tutorial (that cause some spell effects).

Then I leave Candlekeep... and the cutscene battle lags horribly, but I assume this one was because of Intel graphics.

So I saved the game, exited it, went to nVidia control panel, turned on nVidia for the game, returned to play.

I noticed every time I right-click (issue a move command) with my char and Imoen, the game lags. Still, it was playable... killed some bear here and there, a dog (sorry PETA, they attacked first), prevented a suicide...

Then I found 2 more NPCs (maybe from some mod, I Don't remember them from my first playthrough years ago).

Now the game is unplayable, eveyr time I right click, the screen stops updating for a long time, I see the characters teleporting around (ie: I believe the game is calculating their movement, but not updating the screen), every time I right click anywhere now that I have 4 characters the game lags for several seconds.

So... help?

EDIT: By the way, I played planescape: Torment from start to finish on this same machine without any issues.

If it's a right-click issue, then it's likely to be a Windows problem, such as driver issues, security software interfering, or other processes taking up processor time. Make sure you close ALL processes that are absolutely unnecessary, and temporarily disable any anitvirus you have running. Also, run the BGConfig program and check your settings. Toggle 3D to see if that's an issue.
By the way, I tested now moving with one, two, three and four chars selected, and indeed, the more characters are selected, the more the game freezes.

I tried disabling the enhanced pathfinding, but it does not helped at all.
PLease help, someone? I tried turning 3D rendering off, the graphics looked much worse, but the performance issue remained the exact same one.

I also tried using GemRB engine instead, but the resolution got really weird with it (even with widescreen mod installed it shows 800x600 interface over a widescreen map, really weird, mind you, this on a 1366x768 resolution, meaning part of the screen is just black)
Well so far I get no indication that you've even read my previous post.

Both of my posts after your posts were replies to you.

One to explain that the issue is not "right-click" but about walking in general.

Then I realized you probably was expecting me to test the 3D stuff and the other things, I already did that before making the thread, so I made the bump post, saying that I did tested that, and it didn't work.

Sorry for not being clearer.

No, what I meant was that the suggestions I made to you have not been acknowledged:
* did you update your drivers?
* did you disable antivirus and close any other processes?
* did you reboot your computer?

This is a right click issue, which means it's a Windows issue, and you need to concentrate on that.

1. My drivers are updated, as always.
2. I don't game with other processes getting in the way, as always.
3. Of course! It has been a long time since I first asked, I had to reboot multiple times, also knowing Windows the solution to many things is plainly rebooting.

And I don't get what you mean by "right click issue being Windows issue" the issue is when characters are walking (not necessarily by right-clicking, if they walk for any reason the game lags).

Because you said, "I noticed every time I right-click"... It that's not it, then let's move past it.

Let's take a look at exactly what you have installed, and how. Please copy/paste the contents of your weidu.log here.
