Hi all,

I just downloaded BG1&2 with Galaxy and read through a few lists of recommended mods. One that popped up afew times, was Baldurs Gate Trilogy. So I downloaded it, extracted it to the BG2 folder and started it. I reached the point whee it asks for the directory of BG1. Here it became like running into a brickwall. I tried with spaces, without, with the apostrophe, without, in german, in english, I tried changing the folder names to be simpler and it still didn't work. My operating system is Windows10 32 Bit. Does anyone have a suggestion? It would be very appreciated.
Not sure, however if it's based on how the old filesystem was designed, folder/filenames were limited to 8 characters, plus an extension. If the directory was in the directory C:\Baldur's Gate, you would have to type in C:\Baldur~1 to access it.

So if you have it in a subdirectory like D:\Games\GOG\Baldur's Gate, it would be D:\Games\GOG\Baldur~1

Like I said, I'm not sure as I haven't tried it on this game before, but I know some of the other older games required me to do that.
Copy the path from the Explorer and past it in BGT and it works AS LONG AS it's NOT in Program Files.
Just to check - are you using EE or classic Baldur's Gate?
I think there's a different BGT mod for each (unless they've been merged).

Not sure if Galaxy affects the install path (as I don't use Galaxy) - can you post the path to your BG folder here?
e.g. D:\Games\Baldur's Gate\

BGT is based on "classic Baldur's Gate" only.
For EE, you have to use EET
