Hi all,

I just bought and installed Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition for Linux. As far as I understand, this version should run in widescreen and higher resolutions without any mods or patches. However, when I run the game, I still have a none-widescreen resolution. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!
Where did you get it ? http://www.gog.com/game/baldurs_gate_enhanced_edition still is only for Windows and Mac, the only EE game for Linux I can find is Icewind Dale.

AFAIK the Linux version of BG:EE is still in beta, not yet released and not yet available on GOG.
Thanks for your answer. I checked again and I actually do not have EE, but the original saga (how did I get the idea that I have the EE?). So I will install some mods, thanks again!

Be aware that if you have problems reading tiny print, you may want to install one of the Bigger Font mods to go with it. It doesn't increase the font for everything (the hovering text, item stack count and a couple of other UI elements may still be fairly small for example) but it helps with most screens.
