hi i am trying to use custom portraits from super ultimate portrait pack. no matter how i try to resize it and put in portrait folder they never load. because of my game crashing because of intel graphics on laptop when i use the gog launcher. i have to run the game by using the baldurs exe directy. any ideas?

Are you making them 24 bit depth?

If you are still having problems after following the instructions scattered around the web, you could try this: http://www.notra.fr/portrait

I had not used this until now, but I tested it and the files seem all right to me.

That site does nothing but crop pictures to the right size.

Crop, convert to 24 bit BMP, and name them properly.

This person either has a problem with the game I have never heard of, or is having trouble processing the pictures correctly. Since we weren't given many clues as to what is going on, discarding user error is in order.

what folder location are you putting the images in?
