The various new features of the EE versions have been pretty well covered, but I'm curious about the new NPCs, particularly the evil ones, as BG2 is already known for the fact that certain party combinations are virtually unplayable in the long run. Do any of the EE NPCs get into fights with each other, or with the older characters? Are there certain actions that will make them leave the party or go hostile? Do any of them alter reputation like Viconia does?

I already know that choosing Dorn in BG2 pretty much forces the player to act evilly based on the nature of his quests. Is this also true in BG1? What about Hexxat? Would I be asking for significant trouble if I brought her into a mostly good or neutral party?
I had to sort all of this out for the latest BG2 Tweaks, so here we go. In BGIIEE, Dorn may fight with Anomen. Hexxat may fight with Aerie, Mazzy, Valygar, or Keldorn.

In BGEE, there's only one, but it's a big one. Dorn may potentially fight with anyone in the party, but *only* if you goad him into it.

Neera and Rasaad have no conflicts in either game. The 'NPCs Don't Fight' component from BG2 Tweaks will block all of these conflicts.
Hey,

A belated thanks for the response! It's good to be prepared. I also found this very useful NPC guide, which includes the NPC characters along with the regular ones. It looks like Dorn will also fight with Keldorn (no surprises there), and Neera and Edwin will refuse to be in the same party, even though they don't actually fight.
