Issues:

I tried the Linux install on the site, but the game would crash ever time I would try to install. The launcher would come up I would hit install and then it would crash. I then tried via terminal and it was a no go. I'd provide a traceback, but I didn't think to capture it because I figured what the hell I'll just use PlayonLinux. So I deleted it and grabbed the Windows files and then used POL's automated click and go virtual drive creator, after all I decided I'd get BOGII after seeing it on there. So the game runs with what I thought was at first a minor issue, there was some flickering but not enough to completely ruin it during character creation. Then I start playing and the game is has too much lag to even play and the characters jump from one spot to the next. I can't even see enemies in battle long enough to target and attack them and so on.

Is there a fix?
I suspect a fallback to software rendering, probably due to library problems.

Be sure to :

- have a 32-bits version of graphic drivers (libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 and related packages) ;

- check if it works better when you remove the libstdc++ provided with the game, it sometimes conflicts with the libstdc++ used by Gallium 3d
The Linux version isn't really an install as such, it's basically a tarball with the whole game, and then you just start it where you unpack it (with start.sh). Make sure you have all the packages that are listed on the game's profile page though. I downloaded the Linux version of the game and used it on Linux Mint 17.1, and it worked without niggles as far as I could tell from the little test I did.
