Had this game when it came out.

Just saying, I'm glad new players are enjoying it. It's as much fun as I remember it being. Now pardon me, a hamster is going for my eyes.
It felt like there was a span of years when the older pc games were not playable on the current pc operating systems of the time. But then the internet took off, fans got pc savy, gog.com showed up, etc., ...and now most (all?) games can be run on the current operating systems. And I think fans and gog.com will keep this game playable for the long haul.

I only completed the BG Saga once, but damn if I don't think about this game all the time. I got several game plans laid out for more completions of the Saga. I really believe that I'll be playing this off and on for the rest of my life.

Personally I don't have any need for Beamdog's Enhanced Editions, but I am glad that they have inadvertently shined the spotlight on my favorite games of all time.

Cheers!
good games are always good evben if they are old. BG is definitely a good old game. I know I bneat it...18 years ago...but I forget all about almost everything so it's like the first time again.
I like many olde games that were made from before I was born. Mostly CRPG's, I find them to be my favourite. They're like movies or books, they might be older, but they can still be very good and can easily become your favourites.

The thing I find funny, is that these types of games only stopped being made and sold due to store politics, not because people didn't want them anymore. It's quite sad, but it's nice today to be able to buy and see these types being made again.
