orakiorob: I've bought Baldur's Gate 1 and played for a while with a good character. However, I've tried killing innocent people in a town just for laughs, and it was very fun :)

Since I'm still in the early stages of the game, I was considering starting the game again, with an evil character (a specialist, probably). I've figured it would be fun to be a bad guy in an RPG for a change.

Question is: will this make the game significantly harder? I mean, next to impossible to beat, or just harder?

blackakari: It will make it very hard. This game is leaned heavily toward good players. It won't be impossible, but make sure to keep your reputation above 3.

rabieslord: Its been a very long time (ie, when it first came out) since I did an evil playthrough, but doesn't charm person help when dealing with npcs?
