BG EE with Windows 10, suddenly am unable to roll screen R/L or up/down when moving party. Only way I can move to new part of map is scroll out, walk to edge of current view then double click party member to center.
Possibly related, When I load BG EE from GOG screen it used to load in forground but now GOG screen stays in front and the game loads in the background.
Tried rebooting computer and uninstall/reinstall. No change.

The way you are describing the problems it looks like a background process is trying to take control over your computer.
Have you tried launching the game directly from the game's installation folder using the executable Baldur?
(please select the game in Galaxy, click on More -> Manage Installation -> Show Folder)

You might need to turn Galaxy off first.

If it turns out to be Galaxy then a good idea might be to try turning off the Galaxy Overlay.
To do this please click the GOG icon on the upper left corner in GOG Galaxy -> Settings -> Features -> In-game features -> Overlay

Should the issue persist, please try getting in touch with us directly through a Support Ticket.

It would help us enormously in pinpointing the issue if you could attach your DxDiag report to the ticket.

I have suddenly lost my mouse pointer when the game (BG2) starts. it is impossible to make selections. During the select the expansion to run screen the expansion will highlight as I move the mouse around so I can select that when it highlights but I cannot see the mouse pointer. It's like it is hiding behind the screen. I run dual monitors and if I slide the mouse all the way to the side where the other monitor is I can barely see it along the edge of that monitor but it won't allow it off the main monitor. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps for mouse problems including the clean boot mode and the problem persists.

It worked fine just yesterday and nothing has changed since then, other than all the troubleshooting steps I have followed.
