I recently built a new computer and am now transferring all of my games over from my new laptop. This has been a mixed process, and I would like some help with Baldur's Gate. I have BGT installed. When i tried to transfer the game over to my new computer, it says that I need to re-install the games, but all of the data is still there. I have a pretty nice save that I am enjoying, so I would really like to continue with this character and not have to start over. I don't know how big of an issue this would be, but my new computer is 64-bit and my laptop is 32-bit. Thanks. :)

You can't simply transfer the files over. The games need to be installed to be registered by the system. You could probably do it manually, but it would be much, much simpler (no messing in the registry, etc.) just to reinstall, then copy over your saved games -- they will still work in a fresh install, provided you use the same mods.
