Do I have this right? If you buy this enhanced edition thing, do I get the original with the purchase? I don't want this enhanced muck, I just require the original, and you I can't seem to buy it from anywhere.

Thank you. At the reduced price I guess it worth it for the original. Will I be able to install the original through Galaxy, or am I better of doing a classic install for modding?

I've never used Galaxy, but if it installs in ...Program Files x86... then you would be better off without it for modding.

Yes. The original appears in your library as a separate game once you redeem the code from GOG. It can be installed through Galaxy (you can select the install folder, so no need to worry about Program Files) and you can easily apply mods and still launch the game through Galaxy.
