It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

PookaMustard: He's got an excuse. He's on Windows 7, and Microsoft gave up on IE in Windows 10. No matter what you say, the latest iteration is a good browser.

OldFatGuy: What I find hilarious in this thread is the fact that everybody is bashing IE, while the problem is gog's. I know this because despite the literally thousands of clicks on other sites, there is not a single one that this happens on.

So, you know, because gog's website didn't do a good job of making their site IE compatible, it's IE's fault.
People like to punchbag anything if they just can. That includes IE. Just because IE6 for example wasn't that great of a browser, doesn't mean IE11 sucks, right? But hey, whatever works with them. We'll probably be using IE and enjoying it and its nature of being built-into Windows right out of the box, as opposed to yet downloading another browser through it.

Navagon: No. Because there are other freely available browsers and many of them have been better than IE for over a decade now.
Your original point was that Microsoft abandoned IE so he's got no excuse. Microsoft abandoned IE for.... Edge. And Microsoft Edge's on Windows 10. Following the math with me? Great. He's on Windows 7. Oh, and even then, IE11 is part of Windows 10. Heck, even Edge includes a button that literally opens whatever you're viewing in Internet Explorer.

That and he already made his point of why he uses it, because he plays a baseball game that can only be properly played on IE11. As for IE11 itself, its a good browser and doesn't fail unless the webpages it tries to load itself are failing it. With that in mind, the only reason I want to have Chrome on a Windows is just to have another set of login credentials into websites.

You were right... up until that point at least. Yes, Microsoft switched to Edge. But that doesn't mean that's OldFatGuy's only option now, does it? There are other browser options out there.

If he needs IE for certain things then he can do what most internet users do and have more than one browser installed. You don't need to have every password stored in both browsers, just the ones you use it for.

Oh, and don't blame web designers for IE. IE is the single biggest nightmare web designers face. It fucks up even simple things and requires massive workarounds to get it to display things correctly. It pig headedly doesn't display things the way every other browser out there does and yet there are still people who blame everything in the world, but IE for this.

stg83: How many times have people told you OFG for the love of GOG, stop using Internet Explorer. Even Microsoft fanboys like Elenarie don't use that browser. ;)

darthspudius: Only people that willing use IE are the computer illiterate. The thing should be removed from all computers.
I use IE since version 9 (when it stopped sucking and became "meh"-like) simply because I became too lazy to download and install extra software on my pc xD Actually never had a problem with IE since version 9 :s

To OP: the only times I had that problem with the website loading "wrong" is when there's a conection problem and usually just refreshing the website fixes it. Does it happen everytime or just randomly? Maybe is screen resolution related...

And another thing. He didn't say he want to shift to another browser. Even if it wasn't the only choice, its his preferred choice.

And that's what I do, but ideally, I let my main browsers on Windows be IE and Edge, then anything else next (Chrome included). The opposite is true on Android though.

So what? Making websites work on IE is not that tough of a demand right? You know, making the website work on the browser that ships with Windows to begin with. But at least I'd accept your excuse if you at least took the time to put up a strip on the top of the page saying that IE is not supported due to issues X, Y, and Z. But most websites just leave the guesswork up to you. Since these websites are leaving the guesswork up to you, I'd also believe that the developers haven't invested any time in making their websites work properly, therefore it still remains to be the website's problem. If it wasn't for Humble Bundle, I wouldn't have had Google Chrome installed on my Windows 10. IE11 is a pretty darn good browser he's on. Just because its called "Internet Explorer" doesn't mean its inherently bad.

I really wish the creator of threads had the ability to delete them, like on other forums. I wish I hadn't started this one, and won't do any more updates on the rightward shift. Although I will say it did just happen again, just now, and this time it wasn't as far right as the one in the OP. LOL. Almost half of the weekend special box was observable, whereas in the OP it's very, very little. So I guess it wasn't my imagination that it's "moving." LOL

But I really didn't want this to turn into a browser argument.

Have you tried to check the zoom settings in IE? Judging by the image sizes it could be the case. Of course I could be wrong here.
