So I think I remember seeing that there will be a choice of classes, as opposed to the Witcher franchise. I started with the Fixers when I began playing the p&p, but quickly fell in love with Corps. Man I loved to play freakishly sociopathic Corps and I hope I get to reprise the role. :)
That's good news, hopefully we will hear some news in Q1 2016 then.

Thanks for sharing the article. Although i remember reading this before in cyberpunk forums. They will give their full energy to Cyberpunk soon and even then the game wont be ready before 2017.

EDIT: Great! Now that music is stuck inside my head again. "Personal responsibility.... personal responsbilitiy... personalllll responsibilityyyyyyyyyyy............"

Crosmando: That's actually the release date.
Good. That will give me some time to save up for the kind of PC needed to run it.

wolfsrain: As long as i get a great game, i won't complain about how much time went in development. Well...hopefully won't be Duke Nukem Forever development time:)
And hopefully it won't be Duke Nukem Forever gameplay.

I remember back in 93 we where playing the PnP games and I was thinking about making a cp2020 character based on myself. He'd (i'd?) be 43 in the year 2020, which was too old so I scapped the idea.

Damn I was a dumb kid.. 43 is not too old.
1-month bump!

For those that don't already hate me, this is gonna get annoying. ;)

I don't hate you and I see this as a friendly service to the forums!
Do We know if they are doing a linux version yet?
Bump! :)

And some news. This be the year (barring the setbacks that will likely arise).

CDPR: I shall instapreorder this one, of course.

My favorite character to play (in the p&p) was my South American Corp with 7 aliases. Not as useful as my Fixers but way more fun and evil. :)

I'd take any release predictions/estimates with a total grain of salt as video games are inherently difficult to predict the release date of in advance short of picking a date and sticking to it and shipping whatever you have when the day comes whether it is ready or not like Ubisoft does.

CDPR seems to be cut from a different cloth and more likely to not release any solid date and keep the release date flexible in order to hit their desired feature and quality targets even if it means a later release. I for one prefer that approach greatly over games rushed to meet a deadline and then being buggy as hell. Of course no game will be bug free, but there are degrees of ready and some games just don't cut it on release day. The Witcher 3 despite how huge it is was relatively solid from day one, and CDPR has supported it well with bug fixes since, so I would assume that they'll avoid pre-announcing a solid release date for CP2077 and follow in a similar fashion as they did with The WItcher 3.

You forgot the soundtrack :)

You laugh now but there's a pretty high chance Cyberpunk will be a cover shooter.
