ZFR: Consider the example you gave on Steam. You're paying 49TL for Hellblade, while someone paying in USD pays 30USD, the equivalent of 105 TL. Someone from the EU pays Euro 30, which is the equivalent of 120TL, which might make them understandably pissed that someone from USA or Turkey is paying less for the same product.
While this is generally true, many regions do get locked regional prices that are never readjusted not affected by the fluctuation. For regions like Russia, this is in fact the norm rather than the exception.
I'd rather live in the EU and pay EU prices than live in Russia and pay Russian prices. Since people in the EU can afford to move here, be onepercenters but don't, they must agree.
That being said, the prices for high-spec games are definitely unfair. Someone who has a PC which can run Hellblade can easily pay the US price for the game.
GOG's USD/RUR exchange rate is regularly adjusted. Sometimes they don't list it in the General announcement for some reason (doesn't correlate with the direction of the adjustment tho).
