I just tried Pieces of My Heart.. and I kinda find it too crass for my taste plus the actual puzzles you put together aren't very exciting at all; just a lady in a room/restaurant/movie theater/similar scene. Not many redeeming qualities on this one, I'm afraid to say.

But I got the spark to do some puzzles.. if only I could such games! I mean actual putting pieces together jigsaw puzzles, not the hundreds of logic challenges and try random combinations of items kind of games that get the "puzzle" tag. I remember some artifex mundi hidden object game (I love these btw) having a literal puzzle (which unfortunately had some technical issues and I could not finish it).

Do we actually have any, or is Pieces of My Heart the first of its kind?
Might be offtopic or not. I don't know of such games on GOG, where you are actually put together the picture.

But you might like the game Gorogoa, https://www.gog.com/en/game/gorogoa - it has quite entertaining puzzles, some with moving objects which both is fun and tiring, and in many cases you need to change pieces in picture within picture withing other picture and I loved the experience. The game is simple at first but becomes much harder pretty soon.

As for the pictures, they are pure art. Check for yourself, you might like it a lot!

As for the real Puzzle game which is NOT on GOG I would recommend
Pandora's Box: 350 puzzles from the creator of Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov

There are several types of puzzles there, including the ones you like. There are ways to skip those you don't want to play. The game works under Windows 95/98/2000/XP/7 and probaly 10 and 11.

It's was published by Microsoft and never released digitally. If you need more information you might PM me.
