I saw 80s thread and immediately thought of the 80s cafe scene from Back to the Future.

I always like how some of those moden tv shows include 80ies elements like some music, the background, flashbacks, or just taking place the era. I guess it shows how most of those writers grew up in the eighties and get their nostalgia into their work
Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, etc...
It always fills my own nostalgia spot :D

Did anybody play Colecovision games back in the early 80s? I know Atari 2600 was more popular but I asked my mom for Colecovsion because it had better graphics. Also there was also an expansion that would let you play Atari 2600 games on it .I never ended up getting one, but that's ok because I could play 2600 games at one of my friends house all the time. Id also trade consoles with my friends for awhile so I would have the atari 5200 while they had my colecovision.
I also lent my Vic 20 to a friend while they lent me their commodore 64 (Pretty much a fantastic trade for me, not at all for my friend I traded with)
Anyways, I always find it amusing that most games I had were like these that could be completed in about 4 minutes to see the whole thing but we would just play them for hours straight (the difficulty went up but still I find it funny)

Yeah at the same time I had another friend( I guess my circle of friends had all the bases covered for gaming) with an Apple and a green monitor and my brother and I would sit around watching him play games, super awesome times. I can't remember what games he had though, he had a bunch. That was my first ever experience with pc gaming

My older cousin had one of these with many cassettes. Great storytelling with the way the teddy moved and best companion for family travels and such. I always wanted one but never got it. :D

I recall seeing an ad for this teddy bear.

Wonder if Five Nights At Freddy received some 80s inspiration from Ruxpin :)
