There is a new DLC for Days Gone coming on April 25th. Is it likely that they'll release it on GOG as well? What do you all think?

If not at launch, I hope it will at least be released after some time. I'm really interested in playing the permadeath and Horde Assault modes.
Ya hopefully it comes here agreed though my bet is it'll be quite awhile after other platforms get the DLc that it'll come here but seeing as both Playstation and Bend are kinda a unknown in a way for Gog in terms of how they treat dlc and games here on some level .. thus we might get it quickly might get it way later or not at all

Still kinda odd though that its getting a dlc this late in its lifespan given most singleplayer games don't get Dlcs so long after release unless they have iether a multiplayer side to it like Co-op or to advertise indirectly a new installment of the ip or atleast drum up interest for the new ip and get people thus back into the ip via a dlc for the older game.. that or a new release aswell of the same game on newer hardware

I would like to see more content for Days Gone but what I read on steam doesn't sound that exciting to me.
Especially this:
Early Unlocks
Upon purchase of the Days Gone – Broken Road DLC pack, players will be granted the following in-game items
- Drifter Crossbow Early Unlock
- Nitrous Upgrade #1 Early Unlock
- Gas Tank Upgrade #1 Early Unlock
- Shroud Upgrade #1 Early Unlock
- Monkey Wrench Skill Early Unlock
high rated
There's a GOG API entry for the DLC so it's highly likely we'll get it:

Oh wow! This is actually really good news for everyone who owns it here! Hopefully it will happen!

Yes but not a guarantee we'll get it as in the past other games gained Gog Api's or had gained some Gog files but its been several years and the games still have not shown with such things that was added in them

Awesome! At the very least, this means that the GOG team has the Broken Roads DLC on their radar and are trying to get it over here. Let's hope they make it happen.

I don't mind a delay as long as it eventually ends up here in full force.

I think the actual new content for fans of the game is the new game modes. Namely:
- Horde assault
- Permadeath mode
- Speedrun mode

There is also a photo mode and new accessibility features.

I rather hoped for more new quests, new weapons, new bike parts. Maybe even a new area to explore.

Would be nice but Im guessing Bend is overworked + Sony doesnt want to spend more money.

Days is basically a cult hit. Its initial release was terrible and the purpose of this remaster is 100% to gauge fan interest to see if Sony should invest in a sequel or just cut their losses and possibly merge Bend into another studio (there were rumors of Bend merging into Naughty Dog in the past).

Prior to this, Bend was working on a new IP was is a now cancelled live-service game so they werent working on making more content for Days. Im guessing these new modes are relatively easy to implement (take permadeath from TLoU Part 2, not sure how speedrun mode works) and these would be "easy wins" to entice a remaster buy.

Days ends at a clear cliffhanger so I do hope this does well enough to encourage a sequel although I honestly have mixed feelings since the original directors of the game have both left Bend so a sequel will likely be made by new directors (which usually doesnt end well).

Great to know! This restores my hope it will release here!

I love the game, but seeing as Sony and Bend never even mentioned GOG at all in its advertising, and narendra to ignore any questions about it, I had given up hope. Should it indeed release here, it will also restore my hope that we may get more Sony games in the future. Fingers crossed!
It'll probably show up soon.
