So, the few of you who go to/are aware of GOGcom's official twitch channel probably stumbled upon volunteer streamer Kilg0re_Tr0ut (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays).

Well, Kilg0re, ever the proud Canuck, will be doing a Canada Day special stream on his channel tonight (July 1st), celebrating Canada, maple syrup, ice hockey, lumberjacks, poutine, ketchup chips, Tim Horton's, zambonis, ice skating, not feeling cold, etc. etc. -- all the while profusely apologizing (this last one may or may not be true).

If you feel like celebrating Canada Day by watching a very cool, old school (Kilg0re is over 50, a baffling age for most kids who happen to stumble upon his twitch channel), awesome streamer/guitar player/music teacher/ex-zamboni driver, then Kilg0re_Tr0ut's stream might be just the thing for you. Kilg0re will be streaming old cool hockey and curling -- yes, you read that right -- video games, and there's always the Kilg0re staple Box/Movie Hype, in which he shows viewers some of his collection of boxed games and movies (again: tonight, this segment may or may not be Canadian-themed).

The stream starts at 8pm EDT (UTC-4) / 7pm EST (UTC-5) -- which means that, for us Europeans, it happens on July 2nd, 4am CEST (UTC+2) / 3am WEST (UTC+1). If you live (pretty much) anywhere in the North American East Coast it's starting at 8pm, and if you live in Central Europe tune in at 4am -- or 3am if you live in the UK (or Portugal, like me). If you are anywhere else, I apologize (as per Canada Day) for not providing you with your own local time. For a more universal time zone: it will take place on July 2nd, at 2am UTC / GMT+0.

Yeah boy! You'll catch me there, should be great fun. I do love me some Kilg0re. Certainly beats the usual Deus Ex and Baldurs' Gate loving repetitious shite. Always there to support my favourite Rushanadian!

Bumping the thread to let people know the stream will be starting in half an hour.

Apparently Kilg0re was having issues with his Logitech gamepad not working on his XP machine, which means we'll have less Hockey and Curling than what was initially planned -- though it's still going to happen. We're going to have some Jazz Jackrabbit to make up for it, though. :P

I'm honestly not expecting a lot of people (if any) from over here but, if you do plan on showing up, know that you're more than welcome to pop in and hang out for as long as you like. The stream will last for 6 hours, so, if you can't manage to be there right at the beginning, there's more than enough time to join.
