Hi folks, I am stopping with my obsession of ignoring useless titles on Steam, figured 200.000 is enough :D (2 was already too much :)).

To celebrate this achievement, I am giving a key of an older title that had it all - the looks, the feel, and the mystery :)

Enjoy - who ever claims it first, Steam key: F-19 Stealth Fighter, JJQG5-6KJHQ-4G6LN.

With best regards to all,
Marlock

Pft. Amateur night in Dixie. I'm ignoring... how many games are on Steam altogether?

>google googly goo<

"The Steam catalog in the US includes 101,035 games."

Okay, either there's a shitload more games available in Croatia, or something here ain't kosher.

Perhaps it includes DL and/or demos.
lol. Everyone needs a hobby, right? xD

That's also a very smart move. Ignoring games is way cheaper than buying and putting on backlog aka the pile of shame.
Ah ignore, a feature gog desperately needs!

101,035 games without DLCs and items, i presume. There is ~353,838 apps according to the steam DB.

GoG = 10000 "games", without DLCs = 6585 games and that's without excluding demos, prologues, visual novels, movies, early access, pre-orders, junk, scams and considering the broken tag system.

Humans never cease to amaze me, good for you I guess.
Congrats on your achievement! ^_^
This is Steam we're talking about here, so I have a very important question::

What achievement did you get on Steam for doing all this?

The achievement is a public recognition on GoG :) :)

Actually, there is one, install Tampermonkey (or Greasemonkey, depending on which browser you use, I use Firefox, and then look for the GOG Games data grid view script. I have basically reduced my search to around 15 titles, with currently 9520 on "blacklist" (ignore feature).

Exactly, there is plenty of items that Steam refers to as titles.

The reason behind this ignore quest in the first place was my curiosity on who many actual games that can be found on the Steam platform are rubbish. Turns out - plenty! And right now, the plenty is plentiful as folks pop out games every day in wast numbers.

Totally right! D: Out of around 1600 titles I own (according to the GoG Galaxy), my list of shame is huge :)

What? No badge to proudly display on your Steam profile for people to admire and feel envious of. Let's fix that!
