C64 was the computer I've started gaming on. So I'm very interested. Also it contains Aztec Challenge which I loved back then. I'm pretty sure I will buy it. But let's wait for the price tag.

Agreed on the price tag hopefully its reasonably priced for what the collection is though seeing as Ziggurat is involved I have a hunch it will be reasonable
The system requirements sure look absurd for this. Dedicated GPU required, with at least 2 GB, preferably 4 GB, VRAM? Seriously?
I absolutely loved playing "Aztec Challenge". Many hours were spent on that.
But of course, I also had a color monitor. XD

From the other nine titles, I only played "Forbidden Forest", "Caverns of Khafka" and "Chernobyl: Nuclear Power Plant Simulation".
Not really great games.

I can understand the spec if it was just saying atleast a pc with 2 to 4 GB of VRam rather then a dedicated GPU given you can easily get Apus with 4gb allotment preconfigured in terms of pcs you can get cheap off of Amazon and the fact it doesn't say why it needs to be dedicated in the first place.. like if it needs to be dedicated for just that small amount of VRam then why does it need to be? Like is it a specific hardware that specific GPUS have or something? Plus the saying needing a dedicated gpu is odd in a way for such low specs when even alot of more or less modern or modernish releases can and do run on Apus Heck I even found videos of people running Cyberpunk on Apus and that game reqyires on the low end far more Vram then this does..

I can only assume maybe the games how they are coded or maybe the wrapper/emulator of the game release to have em work on modern systems does not play friendly with Apus and even then I am only given the Game slack on the Vram requirement as they did say they have a medieval styled remake of Forbidden Forest with all new graphics and audio.. I can atleast understand the large Mermory calling for the games even if its not a wrapper/emulater reason given the fact of how much ram some Operating systems call for and stuff some people run in the backlground thus as a precaution but I can't see 16 GBs of Ram needed for the Recommended angel even with a remake included and a wrapper/Emulator matter
That remaster (is it a "remaster"? looks more like a remake to me) looks amazing. I love these "Bayeux tapestry" style visuals. Too bad the other games, including apparently even the sequel, only come in the original form. As someone with no nostalgia for C64 I have to be honest - they are damn ugly. Caverns of Khafka is a particular shame for an Indiana Jones fan like myself. With a remaster of it's own, maybe inspired by Drew Struzan's Indy artwork it could really be something.
This looks like a nice game collection, never heard of the games though.
Forbidden Forest has a special place in my heart, but in a bittersweet way.

When I was a wee kid, that was the game that my friend presented to me on his Commodore 64, and it was the game that made me realize how much better games C=64 had compared to my shitty Spectravideo SVI-328 home computer. I had just some stupid "Frantic Freddy" game which was quite shitty compared to e.g. Forbidden Forest.

I recall watching with my mouth wide open my friend play FF, the great ominous music, the dark atmosphere, the frightening monsters... and what did I have at my home? Some stupid game about trying to douse fires in a building and catching cats that dropped from its windows. Yeah right.

Man I was green with envy to my friend owning a much better gaming computer than me. I guess this is finally my chance to get back to him!

This is the shitty game I had, you'd get bored of playing it within 15 minutes of starting it the first time:

There was also a game named "Frantic Freddy" available for the C64.
I remember playing that.
It was quite nice.
But it looked very different from your "Frantic Freddy"
