Jenny LeClue Detectivu is coming soon to GOG.COM.

Jenny LeClue is a thrilling story of mystery, adventure and growing up. Set in the sleepy town of Arthurton, the game is filled with memorable, complex characters and rendered in a unique aesthetic.

Embrace the choosiness and shape the metanarrative. You are not the only guiding hand shaping Jenny’s destiny, but your choices will help her unravel the tangled mystery and become the detective she was born to be.
Noice! ^_^
Looks very nice! Wishlisted. :)
Liking the art style
Detective and on my wishlist? Hell yeah.
'Detectivu'?

Looks good, though.
Is this the complete game or still only part one from a trilogy?

An excerpt from the web side:
Jenny LeClue
The Kickstarter campaign funded the first volume of the envisioned trilogy. Volume One will be a self-encapsulated story. We hope to complete this first entry by winter 2016. Any pre-orders will go towards making the experience richer and eventually creating volumes two and three.
I like what I see, but won't buy just one episode.

On Itch.io is a fully playable teaser:
Jenny LeClue - The Journal of Professor Zazer by MOGRAFI

Your quote answers your question. This game is allegedly self-contained, it's just that there are two planned sequels.

First volume of a planned trilogy is not the same thing as the first chapter of a planned volume or "chapter". They said nothing about this being a seasonal thing, just that they plan on doing a trilogy. Look at the Broken Sword series, for instance, you can play each single title alone without having to play any of the others in the "pentology".

Also, like SirPrimalForm pointed out, the story in this game is supposed to be self-encapsulated, closed, its own thing.
This looks like fun.

My thoughts exactly. Probably something to do with the term dèja vu? Or a really costly typo. LOL

Thanks for the reply.
I thought the same, but I wonder whether somebody else has some more info about the dev and the game.

Orpheus-GOG: Or a really costly typo.
It's spelled that way wherever you look, so it is definitely not a typo.

My first guess was that the devs are Japanese and "detectivu" is the japanized version of "detective"...but it looks like the devs are Americans, and the game has seemingly nothing to do with Japan... shrug

I guess it's possible they're bending the truth to avoid putting people off, so a small amount of caution is reasonable.
Well, the storepage of the game gives me a Guru Meditation.
Didn`t know that GoG uses an AMIGA to host it`s website. Hm, could explain some things...
