cncnet.org is perfectly legal as they only give out the assets for C&C, RA1, and Tiberian Sun. The rest you need to have a copy for yourself (not exactly difficult these days) as written on their site.

And yes, the Polish site GamePressure has huge collection of mods and patch, as well as the full games for these three.

There is a community patch by Antares for Z Expansion Kit, a Windows only addon to Z.

Latest known version is Z Expansion XP v1.7 Beta 3 which supports 2K/XP/Vista, it may or may NOT work under Windows 7 (x64) and later.

All links I've checked are dead except for one, I can't post it here since it's from the source where one can *borrow* stuff for free but I can upload it to Google drive and present a working link if you want or PM you with that source link.

There is also a readme in old Russian Cyrillic encoding which I can decode for you or even translate to English (or you can use Google translate or something), basically it says "place the zexp17b3.exe in game folder"

Latest version which supports Windows 95/98/Me would be 1.5 - I can try and get you that as well if you really-really need it.

wait for a sale, it usually goes for 90% off, don't bother with any of the dlc. It is expensive and not needed.

Emergence (formerly known as Cataclysm) is a stand alone expansion to Homeworld that is a cracking game in its own right.
