I always use Mint with the lightweight Xfce desktop environment because it has everything a modern DE needs to have IMHO, works logically, so I don't see any real reason to even try some "fancier" and more colorful DE like Cinnamon or MATE that just consume more RAM for.. what?

Got to use that 32GB of RAM somehow - the games I play don't usually make much of a dent in it!
