Try asking them their favorite genre of music.
Its more family friendly. :P

I mean, asking an alchoholic what they're favorite drink is.... you did ask...

kultpcgames: GOG could also start by not regularly annoying regular customers with:

- newsletters whose content has long been in their library.
- emails reminding them that something is still in their shopping cart.
- emails informing you that you've bought something great and suggesting even more stuff.
- information about the preservation program, which has actually long been a core function of GOG.
- "coming soon" "announcements," whose significance is often measured in years.
- surveys that are outsourced to someone else.
Don't forget 'not holding exclusive discounts to ransom behind an email subscription'.

Correct. Affordable prices for everyone would probably be the simpler and therefore more effective approach. It would also be more pleasant, transparent, trustworthy, etc.

kultpcgames: Well, in this case, I have to add something to my survey:

Which alcohol does the GOG Bear prefer?

() Absinthe
() Alcopop
() Beer
() Brandy
() Gin
() Korn
() Liqueur
() Fruit Brandy
() Mead
() Rum
() Sambuca
() Tequila
() Wine
() Whiskey
() Vodka
() None of the above
Bacadri Black 151, cola, fresh lime. Cuba Libre Viva la Revolucion!

I'm still trying to figure out who the "GOG Bear" is...

edit: but you know, this old fart doesn't know what "based" means, or any of the gen Z lingo... I'm either out of touch, or just don't care. I think I just don't care.

I will be honest. It's kind of a culture shock for me interacting with youngin's. When I was 16, 18, 20, we made fun of elderly people. Now that I'm almost 50, I read more forums and find, shit dude, I don't understand a damn thing you're saying. Things change generation to generation.

My advice, enjoy your youth when you have it. Cause it does go fast. Next you know, you're 30, then 40, then 50. Not kidding.

I'm serious guys, it's funny and disorienting at the same time. Like when I was your age, I made fun of people my age now. And now I'm old. And I hear lingo I don't get. LOL. Seriously lol...

Ah thanks. So the servers are "overwhelmed". Why not just say that, instead of "gog bear". Silly.

If you want it a little more confusing to new users, call him by name, Theodore (obviously...).

I give up. Cyberpunk is so prophetic. It is our future. So was Robocop.

F**k off, lol. (kidding, but lol)

Anyone want to tell me what "based" means? I'm asking for real. Enjoy my authenticity while it lasts.

Anyone? Bueller... Bueller..

GOG cant be lower priced than Steam, Steam was forbidding it.

Higher price no issue... sure. As, the Steam prices for games in my country is sometimes pretty ugly... so that means GOG is not any less of a goldsmith.

[X] Our wish list, almost (0.)98% of the wishes already fulfilled!

I had a hearty smile... unfortunately the dream list is still... mainly just a dream.
