My family had German Shepard, absolutely wonderful dog. Even though it bit me right under the eye when I was a child, as I grew up I forgave him and loved him all the same. I still have the scar.

Also, why is Torchlight 2 not on GOG? That game has tons of pets!

Two of my favorite games had dog companions.
Earthbound had this shaggy dog that could 'talk.'
Bard's Tale had this jack russell terrier.

Both were awesome.
