We've all been there. There are nails laying around but how do you use the hammer? Of course everyone knows but you just happen to be unsure about it and ask Google to reassure yourself. Measurements for cooking. Like how much water do I add? Why does person A say 50 and B 100? We all use up a lot of our time googling simple answers that are not that simple to you.

So what emberassing things have you googled that everyone knew? With emberassing things I mean: things that are common sense for most.

How much butter is in a stick, and how exactly am I supposed to know what sized stick of butter this recipe calls for.

How much yeast in a packet, and why would people be buying yeast in tiny packets anyway?

How many cups of flour does that oz measurement translate into? Yes flour can settle but I really don't need to be so exact as to pull out a food scale to figure out how much you want.
