So I bought this game hoping to relive my childhood.

But when launching all I get is a blank screen and audio. I can click through startup movies and logo screens and the audio changes as it should but just a big ol' black blank screen.

Is there a solution? Specs below.

Amd FX6300
8gb RAM
Nvidia 1050 GTX
Windows 10 (yeah, I know)

Thanks for any help!

I've been playing Fallout 1 one my Windows 10 rig lately, I wonder if this is a resolution issue, have you tried adjusting settings in "f1_res_Config.exe" ?
I get odd issues where the game runs like at 15 frames or something and flickers on the whole screen on major textures. windows 10 here as well but this never happened before on the fresh released 10 but over the months of the major updates some of these games went to shit. :/

I had a lot of problems after the major updates, try to do a clean install if possible.

even clean installs over the past month it still persists well I will wait and figure out something cause I am using the old gog releases not the newer ones. so maybe that is the issue or it might have something to do with the nvidia control panel settings I have set for others games.

something I need to self check on free time one day.
I had the same black screen problem with Fallout 1 (and 2) after the Creators Update. Changing their compatibility settings to Windows 7 fixed it for me.
