KeoniBoy: We still deal in the customary currency when purchasing a steed for the spread: guineas, depending on how many hands the animal is.

F4rtB0mb: So update time. For some reason they processed my order in GBP but because they took their sweet time refunding it there is nothing they can do now and have basically told me it's not their problem.
Well, it IS their problem, and now it's time to talk to your bank and possibly do a charge back.
Sounds like they just made a mistake and don't believe you.

Magnitus: Your available currencies are not based on your profile, but perceived location. If you are using a UK IP, the British pound should be an option.
Not sure if this changed, but I used to have that issue with a VPN, but then I found on the orders/settings - account and locale page, if I set my zip (for US)/city, it ALWAYS shows in my currency, regardless of where my VPN is.

What I don't know is if in the orders history it autoconverts to your set currency or displays what you bought it in. However, the e-mail will confirm the currency you bought it in.

EDIT:
yup, confirmed. if in US & you don't have zip + city set it defaults currency to wherever your ip is. Specifically says the currency in the e-mail too.

i'm in the usa & here's a pic showing I bought it in Canadian.

BTW, paypal auto converted before it charged my account.

EDIT 2: must be a cookie or something that saves your currency info in the browser. I tried to switch back to USD and in the browser I'm stuck in CAD even though my VPN is New York, but in the launcher it's working.

Oopes. :)
