I have stumbled across this game, Foundation. It is a city builder set in Medieval times, not based on a grid, so the developers claim that the cities will grow more organically than in other similar games. It will focus on character interaction, narrative events and monument building.

For the time being only a Steam release has been announced. It is expected to go Early Acess in October 2018 (next month). Who knows... Maybe we will eventually see it on GOG.
Looks nice, reminds me of Black & White a little to look at.

Hopefully it might make it here eventually.
Yeah, I remember the Kickstarter campaign, but I don't remember them mentioning GOG. Then again, who knows where things will end up in the end.
A SimCity in medieval? Yeah sure, why not. And the zoning looks interesting as well. Hope it will function as advertised, then it should be really nice.
Serious question, I'm not trying to be a smart ass here.

What is an organic city builder?

What is an organic city builder?
The fact that you don't use a grid and roads come into existence like in the settlers games, when enough npcs walk a certain path, the roads will get established and expanded.

It's like organic veg, exactly the same as non organic veg, but twice the price. Basically imagine if beamdog get their hands on it...

While I appreciate nightcraw1er's answer, I will take this as the one I was looking for. :P

I'm gonna check for a wishlist about this game. It looks great.
Looks like this could be an interesting game. I'll look forward to seeing how it develops. Thank you for bringing this game up for attention and sharing the links, Caesar. :)
Hm. Keep an eye on it.
It certainly looks interesting.
