Hi!
I just purchased Transistor and Brothers, a tale of two sons, two games which are supposedly controller friendly...
problem is they dont work. I have a generic xbox 360 controller, which works on steam, and all my emulators, works great
with windows, but I cant seem to get it working with GOG. Any advice out there??? greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
On Windows, everytime I'm experiencing issues with any generic controller I'm using x360ce

Is the controller registered as player 1 (top left quadrant is lit on the guide button)? If not, you will probably have to reboot your computer with only the controller attached to get it registered as player 1. Many times other devices get registered in Windows as controller 1.
using windows 10? when you say generic do you mean the official basic 360 controller Microsoft branded? cause anything that is not wont work well unless you use third party software to map the buttons. I would recommend the Logitech ones they work well.
I recommend a 8bitdo SFC 30 Pro controller. Keeping in mind that new products are on their way.

It has four modes, and compatibility between basically all games.

I'll keep them in mind for my next purchase.

Did I mention they also work over Bluetooth and USB-C?

Wow, the new ones look really cool. I especially like the Gameboy themed ones in all the Gameboy pocket colours. The N64 colour themed FC30 Pro is a little strange.

Obviously the new controllers are unknown, but I can certainly vouch for the quality of their existing controllers.

I'd be tempted to consider another, if I didn't already have a perfectly functional one. :B

I have an SFC30 (not pro). It's great, but at the end of the day it is just a SFC controller. I was thinking of getting a SFC30 Pro so I had something similar but with the sticks and extra buttons. I think I'll wait now and see what they have in store.
