mrkgnao: Rogue Lords has been added to GOG on 13 July 2022. However, the version made available then (and still) is an old version of the game: version 1.1.01b (probably from 7 December 2021). On steam there have been at least two more versions since: version 1.1.04 (12 May 2022; performance and bug fixes) and version 1.1.04.10 (11 July 2022; bug fixes).

P.S. GOG has been informed.

DJM.553: You have been heard, the game is now up to date.
And, that's a good thing.

Thank you
Indeed.
Urtuk: The Desolation is missing paid soundtrack DLC.

Can you please check & confirm that the issue with 'Rogue Lords' is really been fixed ?

As afar as I can see, confirmed. GOG's version is now 1.1.04.10, which is the same as steam's, I believe.
Great !

Thanks for checking out.

Yesss - finally :D
Loop Hero is missing this update since June:

I'm honestly just about ready to remove every god damn newer game from my gog wishlist, as those seem to be the ones with the most potential for bad support. GOG and the devs/publishers are happy to rob customers selling buggy versions of games it seems.

Only getting games once development has ended and they're as complete and patched as they'll get is a good idea in general. The even bigger problem is when work on a game does end, maybe the developer vanishes as well, and it's still left unpatched and/or incomplete here. (Like the very visible case with Dex now.)

Ruvika: I'm only human.
You attempted to explain away the lack/delay of game updates on Gog by labeling updates that have been published in the game's default branch [Steam] as 'beta'.
Expeditions: Rome doesn't have a public beta branch on Steam BTW
Edit: Disregard this post. Said game was NOT out of date.

Despite the version numbering difference, GOG version should be the same as Steam according to changelogs on both platforms.

Thank you. It seems I was mistaken. Though given the gog's sloppiness in providing changelogs and version numbering, it's no wonder I thought it was out of date.
