ERBlank: Ash of Gods: Redemption

The "Beer for Developers" DLC was added on GOG, including digital cards.

As for the patch issue, is it fair to keep that entry on the spreadsheet even if the developer reassured us that it was a purely technical patch that wasn't needed on Linux? Because I've been looking into the matter and I honestly couldn't find any proof that the patch in question is actually gving something more to Steam users than GOG users.
Thanks, I missed that one

That's a fair point. It will remain on the list because of the region locking but the update can be removed.
The Dragoness: Command of the Flame lacks Japanese language on GOG.

The whole Shadowrun Trilogy (Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut and Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition) lacks the MAC build on GOG.

And a small thing: you should rename "Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun: Aiko's Choice" to "Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Aiko's Choice", with a "-" after "Shogun" instead of ":". This mere difference in title is preventing the "GOG 2nd class helper" browser extension to properly show the game's issues.

EDIT: And I forgot to thank you and anyone who has taken care of this list. I've always been a great proponent of DRM-free digital games and it's disheartening to see the GOG store being dismissed by so many developers. And it's important for us buyers to put into scrutiny whoever we want to buy from. Should you need help with the list in the future, I am available.

Is it the developers, GOG or both that games on GOG do not receive updates? Currently:

Workers & Resources - Soviet Republic on version 1.0.0.20 since January 2025, here on GOG version 1.0.0.19, and it's March.
By and large, developers and publishers. In the overwhelming majority of cases, when asked, it's developers and/or publishers who state that updating the game on GOG is not in their interest/above their resources. There are also cases of developers who would have been interested in doing so but where not allowed by their publishers.

Now, there are some cases of features that are just unfeasible to port on GOG (for example things related to multiplayer or modding), or cases where updates on GOG take more time than usual because their system works differently. But I never once heard a case of GOG flat out denying to developers/publishers the possibility to update their own games, if that's what you're asking.
Unfortunately, there are also reasons why GOG first checks updates and then releases them. GOG argues that the developers can upload updates directly to GOG.

What is true now?

Hotel Magnate is no longer being updated either. Current version is 0.8.16.1 (December 2024), here on GOG 0.8.3 (February 2022).

Workers & Resources - Soviet Republic: 1.0.0.20

- Fixed the "Getting Resources" tutorial.
- Optimized tree textures to save rendering time and video memory.
- Fixed an issue where trains were unable to leave cargo stations when "Wait Until Loaded" was enabled.
- Grocery kiosks can now purchase meat.
- Fixed an issue on the East Germany map where a custom house was incorrectly placed.
- Fixed an issue on the British Island map where vehicles could use roads outside the borders.

I would assume that only the online update deployment through the Galaxy client could ever be fully automated, while some manual work is still being done with getting each offline installer available, or at least most of us probably would agree that GOG should test each offline installer on their own systems first and only then make them available to us, as otherwise we could end up downloading who knows how many gigabytes worth of data that was never going to work.

Hello,

Do you ask game developer for patchs?
No, I'm asking here at GOG because I bought the games on GOG and not from the developer. It's also difficult to ask developers if they don't have a contact address.

Alright, I added it.

It's not mentioned, but the 32bit Mac build is there. As far as I understand it, that build is of limited use on a current Mac anyway. For most games that only have a 32bit Mac build, it's no longer shown on the game page even though the files exist.

Okay, done.

Thank you, on behalf of everyone who contributed to this.

MarkoH01: When I warned about this recently I was accused of making an unnecessary drama - but yes, I stand by my point and agree. THIS HAS to go on the list. Especially since I personally tested that the GOG version will run fine after exchanging some of those files with the Epic ones (Epic is fine as well) ... so it would be easy for 505/Remedy to fix it as well if they only wanted to do so.

Hirako__: Control is getting an update(already live on Steam and Epic) - they do mention several bug and crash fixes at the very end of the patch notes here but nothing specific. I wonder if they even remember about this possibly could be reminded since the patch for GOG is not coming right away. Seems like a perfect moment this to be addressed! Also a great time to backup the offline installers if you havent before the update(on steam forums people are reporting issues)
It seems Control received a patch (Galaxy for now) can anyone that has the game installed check to see if everything is fixed ? I remember the was a bug in the GOG version that crashed the game

Strange, even after your correction the issue persists. I don't know what to say.

By the way, I was thinking about Morrowind GOTY, which lacks the Soundtrack DLC. The irony is that the game has the "Good Old Game" label, which comes with "This is the best version of this game you can buy on any PC platform." Of course the label refers fundamentally to the technical side of the game itself, and I suspect that having the rights to the Soundtrack could be a bit more complicated if it requires making a deal with the composer and not just with the game's publisher. But still, couldn't we try to contact GOG themselves about the matter? Because I think that we have more leverage than usual since it's them who decided to put a "Good Old Game" label on Morrowind.
The base price of Days Gone got reduced to 39,99€/USD on Steam and Epic a week ago, while it's still 49,99 here.

Update: Now it's reduced on GOG too.

Gog refused to update Two Worlds II when Top Ware removed the cheats and made them microtransactions. I think the vast majority were okay with Gog's decision though.

I just tried the new update and the anchor crash (which always happened to me with the GOG version prior this update) has finally been fixed :)
The GOG version of Skyrim has been affected by a memory leak after an update sometime before August 2024 ago and hasn't been solved yet. The current solutions are either to rollback to an earlier version of Skyrim (but that breaks compatibility with SKSE mods) or to shut down and restart the game every hour or two.

UFO: Aftermath has finally received Italian and Spanish on GOG.

UFO: Aftershock still lacks Spanish, but there's an error on the spreadsheet because the other language that is missing is not Italian, but Polish: on Steam it doesn't even list Italian as available language.
