This screencap of the sale promotion shows that consoles are the only thing on gog's mind and the mind of their employees doing these promotions.

The conspiracies are strong in this one...

Let's go Brandon!
You can use a gamepad like that on a pc.
Looks like an Xbox 360 controller, and the other is an 8bitdo controller, both fully PC usable? I can understand the timing of the sale is a bit obvious, but I don’t think it’s this subtle!

See? See?! I told you it's real!
A gamepad a day keeps the PC player away.
poof

Edit: No wait, this one is better.

Most modern PC games are best-played with an Xbox controller, since most modern PC games are console ports which were designed to be played with a controller.

The idea that controller somehow equates to "anti-PC" and/or "non-PC" is ludicrous.
not only that, but if you notice the color scheme is using neon colours. neon colors means artificial light. gOg is promoting artificail lfe here. robotic overlords confirmed!

Not to mention that most of the time, the only way to play SNES games is on PC with an emulator. Or with new consoles like the Switch or the classic snes they sold a couple years ago.

I don’t know about that so much, quite a lot of games have quite a few inputs that makes a controller alone not easy, and even if you try controller plus mouse. Been playing odyssey recently and you get more skills than the 4 skill buttons allow, so you then need a changer key to swap, which gets to be a pain.
I have just ordered myself one of these:

Am hoping with all the programmable keys and eased position will make it easier, no more holding half a controller and mouse, or keyboard and mouse.

Your comment does by merely stating the evidence in support of the point.

About the fifth insult I've had to put up with that hasn't been moderated.

All are consoles or console devices that promote console dumbed down gameplay. Notice how the "ancient-red-dragon" (trying to reference the PC era of time in the 20th century), is already clueless about the influence of it and has totally adopted the mentality of a console player, all without realising it. Even when given a BIG HINT in the title and content, he is incapable of any free thinking on it. That's where we're at real PC gamers.

There are for example at least 2-3 other posts here that get it straight away and didn't have to do these mental gymnastics or have amnesia.
