Apparently GOG released a Galaxy update on 1/30, and my Galaxy keeps trying to install it but it fails every time. Anyone else having this issue with the latest update? Any suggestions besides the slow boat route of contacting tech support? If I uninstall and re-install Galaxy, all my saved game info for currently installed games would not be deleted, correct?

reinstall Galaxy, it fixed that problem for me
No need to uninstall Galaxy. You can run the setup again to replace it.
After the failed update attempt I had to log out my Windows user however, since the setup claimed that Galaxy was still running, even after I ended the task (btw, make sure that Galaxy does not start with Windows).

After that the setup completed successfully.

Not sure I know what you mean by "run the setup again." Are you meaning to act as if it isn't already installed and attempt to run the install again, basically "over top" of my current installation?
I have the same problem.

Yep
Download installer, execute.
That's also the suggestion you get when the update fails.

Well, I got an error message when it was done, but it seems to have worked anyway. Thanks for the tip.

A good method is always to read what the error messages say :D

Usually that contains a very strong hint how to get rid of the problem.

In my case it was
1. "can't update. download and install from the homepage" => Download setup and try again.
Then
2. "Galaxy is still running" => Solution: Make sure, Galaxy is not running. If ending the task won't do, relog into your Windows account.

The last error message I got said something about a missing component, but since everything seems to be working fine again now, I am just ignoring it thus far, heh. Thanks again.
