BKGaming: Somebody said that GOG went public in September and that's when they had all the past birthdays. Are we even sure it is today?

Barry_Woodward: According to Wikipedia:

Founded: 22 February 2008
Launched: 1 August 2008
Yes but according to what was posted in the linked thread, their past birthday sales were around September. No idea but I hope it is today.

Happy birthday GOG it has been a fun 10 years heres hoping for many more.
I'm waiting for the jarring and sudden redesign.
I found this old press release: "Warsaw, Poland – July 10, 2008. CD Projekt, best known in the Western world for its award-winning PC RPG, The Witcher, is proud to unveil its invention of time travel. The company sent several representatives to the past and they've returned with some amazing findings. Quick to capitalize on the incredible treasures of history, the company is pleased to reveal its newest project, GOG.com. The site, whose name is an acronym for Good Old Games, is a new games-on-demand platform that allows old fogies (and young fogies) to buy some of the best PC games of all time – many of which just can't be found in stores anymore – and play them on modern hardware, completely free of intrusive DRM. GOG.com is poised to become the center of the classic-games universe with a huge community section including forums, user reviews and ratings, as well as insightful commentary and editorials from some of the industry's most beloved writers. A closed public beta of the site is scheduled for launch on August 1st, and excited old-school gamers can sign up for more info and a chance to enter the beta by visiting GOG.com."
Yeah I think September was when the open beta started.
I wonder if GOG throws a party.
1st of August is also the horse's birthday in Australia.....coincidence,yeah could be.
Happy birthday GOG.com and thank you for whole team and community for making the best place for gamers in the whole universe, not only in one galaxy.

When businesses celebrate something, it doesn't have necessarily much to do with real facts. There's an electric store nearby that actually celebrated its opening with a special sale - three times!

The latest one of those was simply a move from one building to another, the first one probably happened around its real opening (more or less), but I still don't understand how and why they had their second shop opening celebrations. It didn't have anything to do with the real opening or the move to another location. I guess they couldn't come up with a better name for their sale, so they thought, "hey, we can open this shop that has been open for business for a long time - again!!".
A NOLF release would have been nice today but i guess some DRM-free pizza and cake will do too ;p.Cheers

Happy birthday, Fairfox!
Happy birthday GOG!
Here's to many more years of DRM-free revolution.
In the case it is today: Happy birthday, gog.com.
Awesome! :D

Happy birthday, GOG.

I wish your employees and your company good health.
And that many gamers continue to meet you, may it be with old gems or newer games, for many years to come.
Lastly, may your community remain as kind as it is now.

Long live GOG and DRM-free gaming!

Awesome design. :)

Would you mind explaining how you made it?
WIth a contrast of a "background" and more densely placed numbers as the "foreground"?
