The Publisher has released the Panzer Dragoon Remake here previously, though that was a bit mixed in reception this does seem to have some promise...... if it can live up to it.

Seems right now that the Nintendo Switch is the only confirmed platform but PC should be a no brainer as a mouse can replace a light gun with little issue.

...but I want a light gun. :(

Apparently, they'll also eventually follow up on that with a HotD 2 remake according to this old tweet.

It's kind of bizarre how Sega is licensing out all their old IPs. I guess that's better than nothing at all being done with them. *shrug* Wouldn't mind a remake or perhaps even just a straight remaster of the original Typing of the Dead. Still my favorite game of the franchise. ;)

Mice suck compared to lightguns. A graphics tablet is better but sadly one company had monopolised them and jacked the prices up.

When is The Typing of the Dead VR Edition going to come out?

I have a copy of the original PC release of The House of the Dead and I will say it does take a game or two for adjusting but a mouse can work quite well, I would say it can make a game unbalanced since reloading is normally mapped to the right mouse button rather than shooting off screen so you can keep your pointer on the weak point of an enemy during a reload allowing for faster damage output.
