Kevin Conroy, voice of the Batman, has passed away. Rest in peace, Dark Knight.

Whenever I read a comic with Batman in it, it was Conroy's voice that I heard in my head.

Sad day! He and Mark Hamill brought some of the greatest Batman stories to life!! RIP to a voice legend who had never done voice work before landing the Batman role, IIRC.

Wow, sorry to hear of his passing... what a great voice that came to epitomize Batman for many. Agreed!

While that is true -- that Batman was his first V.O. gig -- Conroy was an actor... and graduate of Julliard (roommate with Robin Williams).

Damn seriously. He was THE batman. Shame since I do think the fact that the original voice actors voiced in the arkham series also added to the game’s charm as well.

Dang, at 66 from cancer. Some live well into their 80s or 90s, some get done in before 70, like Robin Williams or Gilbert Gottfried.

Too bad Batman kind of just became his career. Would've been neat to see him flex his voice for more than a few other characters. It does beg the question of who his successor would be.

Very sad. Time to load another play through of Arkham City.
