jabberwacky: Hello F4ll0ut
Sorry been away and just saw your port, not sure what key you are pressing to get your fix ?
Alt + ??
F4LL0UT: Alt Gr, that's the Alt key on the right side of the keyboard. It has worked several times for me. I can't guarantee that I didn't accidentally press something else before that, though. I'm positive, though, that pressing Alt Gr was the moment the keyboard started working normally again.
toxicTom: [Alt Gr] ist the right Alt key, at least "Alt Gr" (Alt Groß) is what it's called on German layouts.
F4LL0UT: Actually it stands for "Alt Graph" or "Alt Graphic" and that's what it's called internationally. Admittedly I also thought it was the German name of the key until I noticed that it's the same on Polish keyboards.
Ah that old chestnut, yeah whenever something weird happens with your keyboard always pound away at the ALT, CTRL and Shift keys. People never believed me when I told them that the first time, support is such a great job.
