Anyone who has been on this forum for awhile knows you are one of these people going around to particular threads you dislike, shitposting in them, inflaming them, taking them off topic in your vain attempts to be them censored closed or deleted. It no surprise to anyone to see mostly all the same names here, all on the same side trying to call out their perceived enemies.

People kept asking for evidence Linko has been fired in all the other closed and deleted threads. Well, now you have some, but heck, is that enough? Of course not. Let's move the goal posts. The only evidence you'll accept is an official statement from GoG. And otherwise you are all acting six years old with fingers in your ears.

You people can't even get your facts straight. Linko seems to be reasonably responsible for at most two of the PR snafus. The first being an outrage mob taking offense, not over the tweet itself, but the video clip from the game itself. The ordeal had nothing to do at all with misogyny at all. Yet the lot of you keep calling him a repeat offender.

And the last tweet said absolutely nothing "transphobic" or anything else at all. It was just about preserving classic games, but because he co-opted an appropriately named hashtag that virtually no one had even heard about before that, he's now somehow a misogynist pig who deserved to get doxxed, harassed, fired and they would have burned him at the stake if they had the chance.

This is what this forum and the general society has turned into. A bunch of unthinking morons on both extremes who don't care about the truth, don't want to research the facts about anything, just want to spew out hateful rhetoric for their "side".

I want Linko back, so all you morons who keep spouting "Nazi" at everyone will either shut the fuck up or get banned and booted off the forums. The same for the idiots who spout off "soy" and "cuck" in lieu of actual discussion. Linko had both extremes kept in check. Warned and banned fairly both extremes in this culture war that seems to transcend any rational thought about the actual issues at play. GoG, we really need Linko back!

It no real surprise seeing the majority of the posts in this thread. Typical GoG forums. No content except to tell other forum users how they shouldn't be posting, calling them names. Calling for the threads to be deleted or not get talked about, because they don't want to read it. Who the heck do you people think you are to tell others what they are allowed to post or say?

@Chandra This is the problem Linko was fixing. The obvious trolls and activists who were intentionally baiting people, insulting them and trying to derail topics. Their posts have nothing to do with the topic being discussed most of the time except to tell others they have no right to post here.

To the OP, i would not blindly trust the information in the article you linked.
It could be true or it could be only partially true, as the Daily Dot claims.
Regardless, by attacking GoG you are only making things worse for them after they already have been the target of a SWJ attack.
GoG is a business and i believe that whatever they did to handle the conflict, was thought over carefully and was the best thing for the company.

We do not know if Linko was fired, resigned, or the company is just trying to protect him from further harrassment.
GoG does not owe us information on who they fire and hire and why, its their internal politics and in this case, by putting pressure on GoG we only harm the company more, amplifying the damage that the SJWs tried to inflict (if its even true that is).

Given the circumstances of this particular incident, personally i think the best thing to do is to drop this subject.

I probably won't be buying from Gog for the foreseeable future.
