Falci: About ubisoft, I don't know. I tend to like their checklist style open world games, even if I don't always fall in love with all their side activities and/or stories.

About 15 euros... man, I'd be all over it if I earned my income in Euros. But my income is in BRL, which is less and less valuable everyday. :(

Granted, I won't be missing the 50 bucks if I spend it now, but, as everybody else said, it will become cheaper somewhere in the future... and if it doesn't, at least I'll have less backlog to tackle in the future. XD

Zimerius: Their latest family rated adventure, the chick with the wings does look great though, but previous games of theirs, for honor, assissins creed odyssey all felt pretty soulless. Passed on the crew 2 too when it went for only 10 euro's.

But yea, you are absolutely right when you say that you want to keep your backlog in check
I liked AC Odyssey very much. I do think it's way too grindy, though I only really felt it towards the end of the main campaign. I just took a really long break before the DLC because I spent over 100 hours playing and I really had had enough.

Random_Coffee: If you have a actuve subscription of Xbox Game Pass running, you can play Control on Windows 10.
That's a good tip. I think I have a free month somewhere around here waiting to be activated. But I see that it's just the standard edition.

I would end up getting the DLC anyway, so, maybe it would be worth to get the full pack elsewhere. Anyway, I'll see if I really have a free month and then I'll see what I'll do.

Played the PS4 version and while enjoyable for the most part, I also found it grindy at times. Stopped after a while, way past the main campaign, but overall I had fun.
Regarding your OP, I'd say wait. Play whatever you have, I'm sure you will get better deals on the mentioned games in the future.

I bought the complete edition on epic when it was going on a sale. After around 30 hours i found to much similarities in what i was doing which was actually a shame since i did enjoy the game both story wise and quest wise. Combat, both land and sea actually became boring pretty quick, and especially when you reach the point where you are able to jump down 5 meter walls, i know it is part of your ascension into demigodhood, still ....
I loved the on foot combat and exploration. The story was nice, but nothing amazing. I didn't like the ship combat, but it became bearable after most of the upgrades.

The mercenary system is nice to a point, but it conflicts greatly with the level grinding in the game, since the levels kept gatekeeping the next mercenary in the ladder, while the game fed you generic guys on your level and under.

Of the recent ones, AC origins was pretty good, had a pretty good variety. Odyssey was a step backward I found though. Lacked the variety and the map areas felt cut and paste. Ending was rubbish on that too. The extra content fleshed it out a bit. Am playing Valhalla at the moment, that has a bit more variety and doesn’t feel as cut and paste.
One of the really big annoyances with ubi games is: the animus part, why they have to push the modern day and simulation rubbish, it just kills immersion. Then the copy paste of collectibles (mostly in older games such as chests, animus fragments), I mean how can, pirates have been short on cash with a chest on every island, or ponder ears in poverty with a chest on every alley! Ship combat on origins was nearly non existent, and whilst there was more in odyssey it really never got going. Black sail is still the masterpiece in terms of story and ships (and music leave her Johnny leave her...)

Oh, on topic, control was ok, found it boring in places and average in others but overall ok. Wouldn’t play again. HZD had nothing like the interest of the AC open worlds, and was a party political broadcast from the left. Could have been good, but wasn’t.

Buy one at a time and wait with the next one until you're ready to play it. Still if you really want a game then value your life and time enough to pay for it what it's worth.

Hemingway said that pheasant hunting is worth whatever you have to pay for it.
Just an update:

I got a PayPal 25 bucks voucher* for whatever reason, I don't know really, this weekend.

So, I saw Control ultimate on promo today, I decided to get it. :) Way cheaper, way earlier. XD

Anyways, I started playing it, enjoying it so far. Looks like Quantum Break will have to come in the future.

About the other games I had mentioned before, I still have the second AC Odyssey DLC (Atlantis) and almost all those side quests, tales from the ancient Greece or something like that to play through.

I haven't returned to Doom Eternal for the DLC yet, but I finished the Deedlit Metroidvania. I've also been playing Metroid Zero Mission occasionally.

Once again, thanks everyone for the inputs. They were greatly appreciated.

* The voucher would last until Wednesday, so I had to find a way to spend it soon.
