Sirius1911: well I played a while now level 8 or so and I dont like it, there is no sense of progression, you are struggling in every single fight, the worst is that there are no manuals or nothing, i created a whole party based on what i thought it was the best, my warrior using his sword for example, added a bit in const, strength and a bit in agility, I wasn't aware that you needed a lot of points in agility to use a good sword ...so i had to start all over again, in the fights you got 67% chances of hitting your enemy still you miss most of the time, meh, it's not impossible just a pain to play.
I like hard games but not frustrating like this one :( I backed it on kickstarter and i dont regret it because, it's obvious they've put a lot of effort into the game and they still are but sadly it's not my kind of game, gonna keep playing wasteland instead
Actually, you are not meant to fight every enemy in the starter area. Go to some other place and see if there's easier enemies. Head east and take the first prince down if you haven't already. Avoid his guards at the gates coz they're extremely tough. I killed the guards after buying buffs before killing the prince for good for the XP since they disappear after the prince dies.
Agility is use for hitting enemies. You can buff up the Swords skill to hit better with swords. Costs 2 skill points per level up after the initial skill up. Mages do the most dmg and are highly valuable. They get powerful at the end because of the epic spells whilst the melee classes get left in the dust.
Niggles: is the game worth the time and effort right now all things considered? i want to wait for it to be on gog.....
Don't see why you can't wait for it to come on GOG.
