Hi,
I have an account on GoG (I know usersname and password) but it asks me to enter the code sent to mail. Problem is that this was some old mail that I stoped using for some time and got deleted. Is there any other way to enter my account and change my mail to current one? Do I need to set up new accounts and use again redeem codes I have for my games in order to download updates?

Contact support team - it should possible to reclaim your old account once verified as the original account owner.
Why do people throw away email addresses? I've been using the same once for a good 15 years now.

Some people have throwaway email addresses, specifically for registering on sites. And then they forget about them and that some accounts which are tied to these email addresses are actually quite important :) Acquaintances of mine complain every other week about similar problems and they never seem to learn.

You can not find a single reason why people give up or loose a mail adress?

for example:
Provider change.
Price increases - subscription canceling.
Provider goes out of service.
Lost credentials and no way of regaining control of the account.
