ThePunishedSnake: Konami did a crappy thing on pricing this for 20€. I mean, both Rising and Catlevania games were priced correctly, this time they adopted 1:1 conv.
Probably cause of the sale they. They might adjust the price after sales? Also I read that some people bought the game for €20 just minutes before the sales :p I never understand the concept of pre ordering nor will I ever.

Zurvan7: Well it's -33% for those who are interested... Seems much cheaper than the most 3rd party shops.
Indeed. Instabought. Thanks for mentioning it, otherwise I may have missed the deal.

Edit: Damn, and just noticed that Revengeance is available for only 4€ right now. Okay, getting this one as well. Have been waiting for a good occasion to get this one for ages. Briefly had it for PS3 (until my PS+ subscription ended) and didn't want to play it at the time because it contained too many spoilers concerning MGS4. Now that I've beaten MGS4 (and every other Metal Gear except the two handheld ones) I'm finally ready for this one.

Yay, finally! Own every Metal Gear now except the few handheld exclusives I don't care about. Also Ground Zeroes is only 3 GB, I will actually be able to play it today. Yay!

No problem, hope they release PP soon. Just played GZ on a friends pc who had an AMD card and DAMNNN it runs sooo good even without amd releasing a driver. Well done kojima productions. this might be one of the best ports I've seen in a while.

I can confirm this. 1080p, 60 fps, no frame dip AT ALL.
Okay, playing on a GTX 560 here which I've had for two and a half years. First I tried setting everything to Extra High (but SSAO set to Off) and ridiculously enough the game was perfectly playable this way most of time. Surely nowhere near 60 FPS most of the time + the occasional hiccup but absolutely playable. During cutscenes it must have been close to 60 FPS. Only when I entered the secure compound I began experiencing really nasty performance issues, longer freezes and stuff and for incomprehensible reasons (mostly only at very specific angles which didn't show anything special, though). Got worse and worse until it became completely unenjoyable, however. I barely managed to finish the main mission due to this.

On High the game still looks absolutely magnificent, though, and seems to run at stable 60 FPS on my card (including SSAO). Will have to find out whether it was a specific option that caused the crap described above. Oddly enough it wasn't about the texture resolution. But either way: it's still an incredibly good graphics/performance ratio. The weirdest thing about the port is the keyboard layout: for absolutely incomprehensible reasons you need to use the cursor keys during interrogations. I hope they're gonna fix that, I don't see any reason why WASD couldn't work.

Anyway, beat the main mission, took me (according to the stats screen) 90 minutes - and I really took my time. Frankly I'm a bit disappointed at this point and I'm not even talking about the length of GZ. For one I don't quite like that new Hollywood / American TV style (including Sutherland's crappy voice) but also the gameplay didn't feel special in any way to me so far. It felt like a simplified and far less engaging MGS4. I hope it will be more fun when I replay it on Hard difficulty, going for a high rating, and/or during the side ops.

On Friday 30, Konami will reveal a new TPP trailer.
Also a Konamy employee said it's almost time for a release date.

F4LL0UT: [snip]
Same experience here with a 7870. I can play it on ultra at about 45 FPS, which is playable, but prefer High at 60 FPS without any drop. I can't even see the difference.
About the game, I really liked it. I find the gameplay real fluid, an not as "rigid" as classic MGS. Missed the 4th one due to lacking a PS3 though. It was short, but I knew it. The only things that really annoy me are the lack of codec, the new voice (doesn't fit the character IMO) and that the guards have no dialogue/overall lack of inmersion (in the sense that I expected more interaction when interrogating them or overhearing some stuff. They are rather plain). That and what you mention about the weird controls are the only things buggering me.
So; physical versions of the MGS5 games will be available in India. Ground zeroes up for pre-order for $11. So I think The Phantom Pain will be around Rs.2199 or $37.

Isn't GZ released in India yet?
I know that physical version of GZ will come later for all countries.

Even because you NEED Steam to boot the game, anyway.

Indeed; I'd advice DRM for the first few years of a triple A game; but Kojima not releasing money printers of the past such as MGS1 and MGS3 on GOG is ludicrously absurd. That amount of insanity isn't good, IMO XD
