I didn't know there was a M&B2 in project, so this has been a very nice surprise for me. Good news to start the day.

This is not so related, but I also realised today that a nice roguelike I believed to be dead and abandoned is alive, so that's two good news for me.

Bannerlords was announced like back in 2013 first so it's definately not news but i agree good stuff and i love mount and blade warband despite it's obvious flaws and from Taleworlds interview the game looks promising and much like a more polished version of Warband.

IT EXISTS!

It's looks great, but will I live to see it released? Not too mention having to wait the extra few years for modders to add all the components missing from the base campaign.
