To pass the time, I write up about stories. While there's a long one that I come and return to intermittently, there are short ones that sort of...more or less, bottle up in my head until it is formulated into a workable piece. This thread is about the short ones.

So occasionally, I'm going to drop a plot here, a plot there, in this thread. It'll be all only Google Docs links, unless someone requests for an alternative service.

This latest one is about an abusive pilot and her assistant. I wrote one part of it (consider it the pilot for the rest of the story); two more to go before I call it completed.

Hey, thanks for sharing your writing skills here. In case you're also looking to gather some feedback from the community I'll leave you my take below:

It's great that you're beginning with an "In media res" and hooking us into the plot and action from the get go. The use of conflict to drive the story forward and characterise your protagonists is also very nice, but in my opinion, you reiterate more than necessary the relationship of dominance between them and maybe this could be condensed much more with a just giving us a tiny detail "a là" show-don't-tell. Also, your writing skills are good although (and I know this is really subjective) I thought the story lacked a personal writing style.
